FITZGERALD CHASES WYSONG TO RMR MONDAY NIGHT

 

 

            Dave Fitzgerald of Salt Lake City, Utah will try to unseat Jimmy Wysong as the leader in the USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series standings this Monday night when the series returns to Rocky Mountain Raceways in the Utah capital.

 

            Fitzgerald trails Wysong by only six points entering Monday night's event despite Wysong victories in both series races so far this year.

 

            Fitzgerald, whose best finish in the 2005 series was third, has posted the fastest qualifying time and finished second in both of this year's races. He remains the winningest USAC driver of all time in Utah, with nine career supermodified triumphs and three victories in the Rocky Mountain Sprint Cars.
