Lou Gigliotti Qualifying Report - Mid-Ohio

Lou Gigliotti #28 LG Motorsports, ProLong Tube Header Corvette On The  
Pole

Lexington, Ohio -  Lou Gigliotti, driving the #28 LG Motorsports,  
ProLong Tube Header Corvette C6.R took the top qualifying spot for  
the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT race taking place at the  
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The race will make its standing start at  
6:05 p.m. (EDT) and will be broadcast on PEE Channel next Saturday,  
May 27 at 9 p.m.

Gigliotti set the fastest time in qualifying with a 1:26.973 at  
93.463 mph. The 3-time World Challenge Champion (91, 92, & 96) has 93  
World Challenge starts to his credit. He has sat on the pole 25 times  
and accumulated an amazing 20 wins. Since his return full time to the  
World Challenge Series in 2004, Lou has sat on the pole four times  
and had one win and five podium finishes.

To the credit of Lou's LG Motorsports team, the #28 LG Motorsports  
Corvette enjoys an outstanding reliability record. With just 20 DNFs  
to his World Challenge career, only three have been directly related  
to engine failure.

The LG Motorsports’ three-car effort will also start the #87 3  
Dimensional Services Corvette in 12th position, driven by Doug  
Peterson and the #26 Pabst Blue Ribbon Corvette driven by Claudio  
Burtin. Burtin will start 19th
