SELINSGROVE, PA-- For the second straight year, The Dirt Track Channel website will broadcast the Race Of Champions Dirt Modified and Sportsman Tour in 2006 live over the Internet.

Ten nights of action will be featured beginning with the Sportsman race at Penn-Can (Pa.) Speedway on Memorial Day, May 29th.

"We are excited to once again bring the RoC Tour to our listeners," said Shawn Wood, President of The Dirt Track Channel. "We love the concept of the tour and we have seen first hand the exciting racing it offers. We are looking forward to working with Andrew Harpell and his fine staff for many years to come."

In addition to the live audio webcast, The Dirt Track Channel will bring post race video interviews to its website with the top three finishers from each race all season long.

The broadcast times will be announced on The Dirt Track Channel website closer to the race day. Additional webcast dates are pending and will be announced at a later date.

The Race of Champions Dirt Tour, early in its sophomore season, has already posted some big '06 numbers. The Modified Tour's North Region opener on Sat., April 8 at N.Y.'s Fonda Speedway drew 55 entries. Mitch Gibbs of North Norwich, N.Y., picked up the $4,000 triumph over Pat Ward and Matt DeLorenzo.

Round two of the North Region took place at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y., on Sun., May 14 with the "Remembering Alex" 68-lapper. Alan Johnson, 48, scored his first RoC Dirt triumph over Billy Decker and Tim Fuller with 41 cars pitside.

The RoC Dirt Sportsman Tour's South Region lid-lifter at Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, N.Y., on Sun., April 9 drew a stout 47-car field. New Jersey veteran Willie Osmun won the 40-lap event over Danny Creeden and Jason Hamilton.

"The RoC Tour is off to a great start in 2006," said administrative director Andrew Harpell. "Having The Dirt Track Channel on board will only increase the notoriety of the series and provide more media exposure for the racers.

"It's a win-win situation for everyone."
