LG Motorsports Mid-Ohio Pre Race Report

LG Motorsports ProLong Tube Header Corvettes In Full Force For Mid- 
Ohio SPEED World Challenge GT

Lexington, Ohio – Lou Gigliotti, in the #28 ProLong Tube Headers  
Corvette, dominated the early laps in round three of the SCCA Pro  
Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Series at the Toyota Grand Prix of  
Long Beach. He finished fourth. This week, Lou and the LG Motorsports  
crew head to Mid-Ohio for the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge  
GT race. The green flag falls Saturday at 6:05PM and will air  
Saturday, May 27 on PEE at 9PM EST.

"The SCCA put some adjustments on the Porsche," said Gigliotti, who  
currently sits fourth in the points standings, "but we're still going  
to have our hands full holding off the Vipers. Our guys have done a  
great job getting the ProLong Tube Header Corvettes ready for this  
race, and I think with the predicted rain, we'll make the best of a  
tough situation."

"I don’t like the rain but I seem to have great results in the  
rain," continued Lou. "And, on the bright side, LG Motorsports is a  
professional team and we'll find a way to make diamonds out of coal."

Claudio Burtin, driving the #26 Pabst Blue Ribbon Corvette C6, is  
also optimistic about the weekend.

"I consider Mid-Ohio a very technical track where handling is a  
premium," said Burtin.  The #26 Pabst Blue Ribbon Corvette C-6 has  
just been up-dated to the newer specs and I'm hoping for a better  
result than what I've shown thus far."

Doug Peterson will be back in the #87 3 Dimensional Services Corvette  
after sitting out the Long Beach Race. Peterson will be serving  
double duty this weekend also participating in the Star Mazda Series  
in which he is a former champion.

The LG Motorsports’ three-car effort and the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED  
World Challenge Series are at Mid-Ohio as part of American Le Mans  
Series weekend. The event will air on SPEED Channel Saturday, May 27  
on SPEED at 9PM EST.
