ATLANTA - Manheim has announced the addition of Franklin Capital
Corporation to the growing list of companies participating in Dealer
Auto Funding Solutions (DAFS), a Web-based platform that connects
independent automobile dealers with major retail financing lenders.
Through the DAFS program, dealers are able to make retail financing
decisions in real time and finalize consumer transactions in seconds
with a complete tier of national and regional lenders, which now
includes automotive lending specialist Franklin Capital Corporation.
The decision and risk analysis program is powered by technology from
California-based Bankers Integration Group (BIG) and is administered
through Manheim, the world's leading provider of automotive remarketing
services.
"Joining the DAFS program will give us immediate access to a high
quality independent dealer base, thus allowing us to expedite the
completion of our national expansion plans," said Harold E. Miller, Jr.,
president and CEO of Franklin Capital Corporation. "Our goal is to
provide our customers across the country with solid options for auto
financing."
Manheim is providing nationwide sales support to Franklin Capital
Corporation as part of the DAFS agreement, which Miller said was a
critical and cost-effective piece of the company's national lending
strategy.
"Franklin Capital will add a great deal of value to DAFS," said Mark
Brunn, vice president of vehicle management businesses for Manheim.
"Finding the right lender to meet each consumer's distinct needs is
often challenging, and we believe independent dealers will welcome
another reputable lender to the program."
Other financial institutions already connected to DAFS include Bank of
America, Bay View Acceptance Corporation, Bank of Stockton, Chase Custom
Finance, Crescent Bank, Fireside Bank, Guaranty Bank, and Nationwide
Acceptance Corporation.
Manheim plans to complete the national rollout of the DAFS
program by the end of the year.
