ATV Safety Institute(R) Hosting Kids Training Days; Free Training for Kids Ages 8-15 in Raleigh, North Carolina May 20-21, 2006

--On December 1, 2005, a landmark all-terrain vehicle safety bill, SB 189, sponsored by Sen. William R. Purcell, went into effect. This law requires that ATV operators born on or after January 1, 1990 must possess a safety certificate that indicates they have successfully completed an ATV safety course sponsored or approved by the ATV Safety Institute.

The ATV Safety Institute is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a free training event for kids ages 8 to 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Students who complete the course will receive a safety certificate.

For each student who completes the ATV RiderCourse(SM) during this free training event, the ATV Safety Institute will donate $100 per student to North Carolina Safe Kids to help further ATV safety awareness in the state.

Who:            Kids in North Carolina, ages 8 to 15.  No riding
                experience is necessary.  Even if you don't own an
                ATV, take advantage of this opportunity to teach your
                children the safe way to ride.

When:           Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21, 2006.
