Comdata(R) Announces State of Florida as New Fleet Customer

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--May 18, 2006--Comdata(R) Corporation, a leading provider of payment systems for the transportation and retail industries, has been retained by the state of Florida as its fleet card provider.

Comdata will issue fuel cards for the 25,000 state-owned vehicles and will provide line-item detail and authorization prompting data on the usage under a five-year contract.

"It's important for our state vehicles to be able to obtain fuel for the first responders in the event of an emergency," said David Bennett, department of management services, state of Florida. "Through the alliance with Comdata and TransMontaigne, a third party supply-chain provider, not only will we be able to consistently have access to fuel for our fleet, but we will also save in excess of $2 million dollars annually with this seamless tax-exempt program."

The Comdata card will have universal acceptance in the Mastercard network for all approved vehicles.
