SPEED World Challenge Weekend presented by Trenton
Forging Quality Formed Solutions at Mid-Ohio this
Weekend
Trenton, MI – May 16, 2006 – For the second
consecutive year, Michigan-based Trenton Forging
“Quality Formed Solutions” will host the SCCA SPEED
World Challenge Series held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car
Course, May 19-21, in Lexington, Ohio. The event
consists of the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car and
SPEED World Challenge GT races.
“Sponsoring this exciting event works out well for
us,” says David Moxlow, Trenton Forging president.
“Our plant is just two and a half hours away, and we
have many customers in the region. Plus, Mid-Ohio is
such a beautiful track.”
In addition to sponsoring the World Challenge event,
Trenton Forging is also title sponsor of the Autosport
Development No. 20 GTO driven by Stu Hayner along with
associate sponsor PR Machine Works, Inc. of Mansfield,
Ohio.
Over 300 guests have been invited by Trenton Forging
and PR Machine Works to watch the races. Clients,
employees, family and friends will enjoy grandstand
seating, participating in special trackside activities
and hanging out in the Autosport Development
hospitality tent or Goodyear Tower.
“It’s a great weekend, one my clients really
anticipate,” says Moxlow. “Between pace car rides,
participating in the opening parade, presenting
trophies to the winning drivers, numerous photo
opportunities and great food, my clients and their
families get to experience professional auto racing
like they’ve never experienced it before.”
"We're pleased to again have Trenton Forging partner
with SPEED World Challenge for the Mid-Ohio event,”
says Eric Prill, Sports Car Club of America director
of marketing and communications. “Trenton Forging has
been a long time supporter of SCCA racing, and we're
happy to work with them again this year and also
welcome their Pontiac GTOs back to the SPEED GT
field."
