USAC Release - "WEDNESDAY NIGHT THUNDER" RESUMES THIS WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS – Following last week’s washout of the USAC Regional Midget,
Ford Focus Midget and Kenyon Midget Car Series divisions, the weekly
“Wednesday Night Thunder” series resumes this Wednesday at the Mount Lawn
Speedway in New Castle, Ind.

Early winners Andy Baber II (Ford Focus) and Sammy Imel (Kenyon Cars) lead
their respective point standings by virtue of their victories May 3 at the
Anderson (Ind.) Speedway. Scott Thoman leads the Regional Midget points
though he is still looking for his first series victory.

The races are the first for USAC on the 3/10-mile oval since 2000.
