Aura Receives 5 New Military Prototype Orders

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--May 17, 2006--Aura Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AUSI) announced today that during the last several weeks it has received initial orders for five different defense related programs. These new applications are in addition to a number of ongoing military and defense contractor purchases of the Viper, the Company's patented mobile power solution. The Viper is the military version of the AuraGen.
