Comdata(R) Announces State of Texas as New Fleet Customer

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--May 17, 2006--Comdata(R) Corporation, a leading provider of payment systems for the transportation and retail industries, has been retained by the state of Texas as its fleet card provider.

Comdata will provide a seamless tax-exempt program through its alliance with TransMontaigne, a supply chain management provider. Comdata will also provide fuel discounts and line-item detail for the state's 30,000 vehicles under a four-year contract.

"Comdata's fuel discount program, as well as its large network of auto-related goods and services, was really attractive to us when we began looking for a fleet card provider," said Jim Scogin, state council on competitive government for the state of Texas. "We believe we'll see significant savings in our fleet program."

The Comdata card will have universal acceptance in the Mastercard network for all vehicles that apply. The card will also be available for auto-related goods and services.
