Solutia Raises Price on All Ascend and Vydyne Nylon Plastics and Polymers
ST. LOUIS, May 15, 2006 -- Solutia Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SOLUQ) has announced a price increase of 7 cents per pound across its Ascend(R) and Vydyne(R) polyamide 66 resins in the American markets, $150 per metric ton in the Asian markets, and 200 euro per metric ton in the European, Middle Eastern and African markets. This increase applies to orders shipped on or after June 1, 2006, and will be applied across the Ascend and Vydyne product families.
