The demo of MotoGP '06 features one MotoGP track, Mugello, where players race as the world-class Nicky Hayden for the Repsol Honda team, and one extreme track, the high-rise metropolis of Tokyo. Up to 16 players are able to race in both blistering multiplayer environments across Xbox Live and also be able to practice their knee-scraping cornering skills in single player mode against fiercely competitive AI riders.
"The success of the MotoGP franchise has always been attributable to the perfect balance between exhilarating, fast-paced racing action and the amazing attention to detail in the game," said Pete Murphy, brand manager, THQ. "With the demo available as a free download on Xbox Live Marketplace, we're looking forward to bringing the Xbox Live community the ultimate racing experience as they compete for the hallowed top-spot on the Xbox Live leaderboards!"
Licensed from Dorna Sports, MotoGP '06 is the latest in THQ's highly successful MotoGP franchise which has shipped in excess of 1.5 million units world-wide, including such critically-acclaimed titles as MotoGP URT 3. MotoGP '06 is expected to ship globally in June 2006.
Visit www.motogpthegame.com/motogp06 for the latest information on the game. MotoGP '06 is currently on display at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in THQ Booth# 1324, South Hall, in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
