Fitch Credit Analysis: Ford Motor Credit Company

NEW YORK--May 1, 20060, 2006--Fitch Ratings has published an updated credit analysis on Ford Motor Credit Company (FMCC), which is now available on Fitch's web site at www.fitchratings.com.

There are no new rating actions.

Earlier this year, on March 13, 2006, Fitch downgraded the ratings of Ford Motor Company, FMCC and their related subsidiaries to 'BB' from 'BB+'. The Outlook remains Negative. In Fitch's view, the ratings of FMCC are linked to Ford due to the strong business ties between the two companies.
