Plexus Systems Recognizes Contributions of Top Sales Executive
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 10, 2006 -- Plexus Systems, providers of the on-demand manufacturing performance system Plexus Online, recently recognized the contributions of its top sales executive, Michael Solomon. Plexus leaders awarded Solomon with top sales honors at a recent internal company meeting. He celebrated his one-year anniversary as a Plexus employee a few months ago.
Solomon is responsible for assisting manufacturers with the evaluation of Plexus Online, the fully-integrated manufacturing system that contains over 350 different modules. Although many Plexus customers utilize the complete Plexus Online system across their entire enterprises, manufacturers can also use individual modules of the solution such as Shop Floor Control/MES, Quality Management or Supplier Management to augment existing manufacturing and/or ERP solutions.
In 2005, Solomon secured 9 new customer accounts for the 11-year-old company. Already this year, Solomon has completed several new customer acquisitions including Cooper Standard and Magna.

Solomon is a graduate of the University of Detroit - Mercy. Prior to joining Plexus in 2005, he was a sales executive at Infor Global Solutions. He is an active participant in the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) -- two of the largest automotive trade associations in the industry.
