Pennsylvania Governor Rendell to Announce Major Alternative Fuels Initiative
Governor Edward G. Rendell will announce a major initiative at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, that will lessen the state's dangerous dependence on imported oil by replacing it with cleaner-burning, domestically produced alternative fuels. Governor Rendell will make the announcement at the opening of Pennsylvania's first publicly available E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline) fueling station, a WoGo convenience store in Lititz.
