AMI DODUCO presents innovative surface technology at the Galvanica trade fair
PFORZHEIM, Germany--May 9, 2006--AMI DODUCO, a Technitrol Company will be exhibiting at the Galvanica trade fair in Stuttgart from 16th to 18th May 20, 200606. Galvanica is a new biannual trade fair for innovative surface technologies, finishing and electroplating. AMI DODUCO will be presenting its comprehensive product range in the surface technology sector, from materials and processes for electroplating to job-shop plating using electrolytic, chemical and PVD processes to precious metal recycling.In addition to tried-and-tested products and processes, AMI DODUCO, in anticipation of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) changeover, will show its innovative RoHS-compatible solutions for pin-and-socket connectors, PCBs and technical and decorative surfaces. These include lead-free chemical nickel/gold processes, fluxes for lead-free HAL processes, lead-free bronze electrolytes, chrome (VI) free anti-tarnish products for silver and high-performance hard gold and silver electrolytes.
Another highlight will be the new rhodium/palladium combination process for decorative plating, which, in the light of the consistently high price of rhodium, offers a significant cost saving over plating with pure rhodium.
