LeadPoint Taps Autobytel's Steve Lind to Launch Auto Category
LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2006 -- LeadPoint Inc. today announced that Stephen Lind has joined the company as Vice President, Strategic Accounts to head the company's upcoming automotive category, build key strategic relationships and launch related categories. Mr. Lind reports to LeadPoint CEO Marc Diana.
Previously Mr. Lind served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Account Development at Autobytel where he oversaw the company's sales and development efforts with automotive manufacturers and the top 25 largest dealer groups. He was also General Manager of RPM, one of the company's CRM businesses. In 2001, Lind started Autobytel's wholesale leads business and grew it to over 1.2MM leads in 2005, helping OEMs and large dealer groups effectively market to online car shoppers.

Prior to joining Autobytel in 1998, Lind worked in the fleet operations and financial planning and analysis areas for Nissan Motor Company, USA. Lind holds a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
