Wright Appointed Vice President / General Manager Accuride Steel Wheels

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--April 28, 2006--Accuride Corporation recently announced that it has appointed Leigh Wright to Vice President / General Manager Accuride Steel Wheels.

Accuride has steel wheel manufacturing facilities located in Henderson, Ky; London, Ontario, Canada; and Monterrey, Mexico. Since early 2004, Wright has served as Accuride's Director of Operations / London Plant.

"Leigh possesses extensive experience in building operational excellence through implementation of lean manufacturing practices," said Bob Nida, Accuride's Senior Vice President / Operations - Wheels, Gunite, and Brillion Iron Works. "We look for Leigh to further optimize our existing steel wheel operations, while assisting the Corporation in strategically growing its global steel wheel footprint."

Wright has over 20 years of progressive management experience, most of which has been in the heavy truck industry. Wright has a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a CIM from McMaster University, and a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist diploma from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
