Diamond Triumph Announces Executive Management Changes
KINGSTON, Pa., April 27 -- Diamond Triumph Auto Glass, Inc. ("the Company") announced today that the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Norman Harris, has decided to retire from the Company after his many years of service. Mr. Harris will continue to serve as a consultant to the Company and will also continue to advise the Company as a member of the Board of Directors.
Effective May 1, 2006, the Board of Directors of the Company designated Douglas M. Boyle as the Company's Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this designation, Mr. Boyle served as the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Boyle is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
In addition, effective May 1, 2006, the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Karen A. Christopher to serve as the Company's President. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Christopher served as the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer. Ms. Christopher holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Ken Levine, Diamond Triumph's Chairman, commented on the management changes.
