ZF Names Hans-Georg Haerter as Next CEO
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany, April 27 -- ZF Friedrichshafen AG - a leading worldwide supplier of driveline and chassis technology - announced Hans-Georg Haerter (60) as the successor to current CEO Siegfried Goll (65).
Haerter will be appointed to the ZF Friedrichshafen AG Board of Management effective October 1, 2006 and will be assigned to the CEO position effective January 1, 2007. Goll is retiring December 31, 2006.
Haerter currently serves as the Group Executive, Powertrain and Suspension Components division, ZF Sachs AG. As a member of the ZF Group Board of Management, he is responsible for operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Goll has been CEO of ZF since July 2001.
