Volvo: Claes Nilsson Appointed New Head of International Division

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--April 25, 2006--Claes Nilsson has today been appointed Senior Vice President, responsible for International Division at Volvo Trucks . In this position he will be a member of the Truck Executive Group.

Claes Nilsson has been with Volvo since 1982 and has a solid and varied background at Volvo Trucks. His latest assignment was as Vice President Retail Development at the European Division.

He is taking up his position as from May 1, 2006 and he is succeeding Claes Svedberg who has taken on a position as Vice President for the Alliance Office and will be located at AB Volvo headquarter in Goteborg, Sweden.
