MicroTRAK GPS Signs Platinum Wireless as Master Dealer for Its Fleet Security and Location Tracking Device; Agreement Will Make Platinum Wireless MicroTRAK's Largest Fleet Distributor

DALLAS--April 25, 2006--MicroTRAK, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MIOK), a leading provider of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology and products, today announced it signed a new agreement with Los Angeles-based Platinum Wireless, one of the nation's largest Sprint Nextel distributors, to sell it's GPS-based Fleet Management vehicle security and location tracking system.

Platinum Wireless will initially sell MicroTRAK's Fleet Management system through a select group of existing sales channels which represent nearly 60 commercial and retail dealers nationwide. The product will be available through Platinum Wireless' distribution network within the next 90 days. A $35 million company, Platinum Wireless was recently named "LA's Fastest Growing Privately held Wireless Company" by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the third consecutive year. Through its 14 national offices, Platinum Wireless services companies such as the City of Los Angeles, University of Irvine and Lowe's Home Improvement.
