Lonnie Mayne to Join Affinia Group Inc.
ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 19 -- Heavy-duty and retail sales specialist Lonnie Mayne has accepted a position with Affinia Group Inc. as vice president of special markets, effective April 24, 2006.

"Lonnie is the perfect fit for this position, with extensive experience in the aftermarket, specifically the heavy-duty aftermarket. Mayne comes to Affinia from No. 1 International (Hi-Tech), where he held the position of president of the Factory Engineering Group. Formerly, Mayne served as national sales manager for Timken Corporation and western regional sales manager for Federal Mogul. In his past experience, he has successfully developed sales, marketing and organizational strategies designed to build relationships with customers, create an operational structure for high performing sales teams and increase overall sales.
Beginning his career in the automotive aftermarket at the Frank Edwards Company in Salt Lake City, Mayne served as an inside/outside sales manager and education director for the small engine division. He studied business at the University of Utah and received his Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) from Northwood University.
