Federal Companies Announce Van Foreman and Operators of the Year

EAST PEORIA, Ill., April 19 -- Federal Companies announced its 2005 Van Foreman and Logistics Operator of the year award winners at its annual Awards dinner on April 14th, 2006.

To receive the driver of the year honors, the drivers had to meet the follow criteria:

  -- No traffic violations
  -- No log violations
  -- No unjustified late deliveries
  -- No customer complaints
  -- And most accident free driven miles

Federal is excited to announce that Kaven Mayfield received the award for Federal Companies Van Foreman of the Year. Kaven had a customer service score of 4.70 out of 5 and 0 accidents. John Ogle received 1st runner up, and Tim Woodward was the 2nd runner up.

Kaven is from Los Angeles, while John and Tim are from Phoenix and Cincinnati respectively.

Kaven's wife Deanna states, "We communicate several times each day when he's out on the road, my husband is doing exactly what he was meant to do in life." Bill Cirone, President of Federal, added, "This is his passion and he accepts the responsibility of provider and head of household with respect, dignity, and the planning for the future that is necessary of good leaders in their field."

Federal Companies is also proud to announce that Leon Bomleny has been named the Federal Logistics Operator of the Year. Leon logged 144,000 miles with 0 accidents and 0 claims. Nick Goff was the runner up with 142,000 miles, 0 accidents, and 0 claims.

Leon and Nick are from Maple City and Gibson City, Illinois respectively.

Leon has been with Federal for over 14 years. His wife Tammy was quoted as saying, "Leon is a great father, he is kind, generous, and he is a good husband."

Bill Cirone added, "Leon sets the example for all of us to pull hard to the next level, his love of driving, and the influence of his father. He is quiet, honest, humble, and has a good sense of humor."
