WHY
Broad industry interest in EPA's Clean Diesel Combustion has accelerated the need for more advanced air-boosting systems than are available for today's diesel. BorgWarner and EPA have formed a technology partnership to address the greater performance requirements of advanced turbocharging and boosting systems. Clean diesels will improve the environment, save consumers money at the pump, increase national security by reducing U.S. dependence on the Middle East, and lower the U.S. trade deficit -- thereby growing America's economy.
