Unisone(R) Corporation Licenses Patented Advanced Inventory Control System and Methodology Utilizing RFID Technology to TradeMotion Software(TM) Inc.

NEWCASTLE, Del.--April 13, 2006--

Patent Gives TradeMotion the Ability to Revolutionize the Automotive Industry by Managing Parts and New and Used Car Inventory Through Operably Connected Technologies in Real-Time

Unisone(R) Corporation, a supplier of business software applications, which owns one of the richest inventory management IP portfolios, announced it has entered into a license for rights to its U.S. patent No. 6,996,538 for the automotive industry to TradeMotion Software(TM) Inc. The license covers the supply chain management software sector and systems relating to parts and automobiles inventories for advanced inventory management. The license also leverages business processes in operably connected technologies to track inventory through RFID technology to TradeMotion Software(TM) Inc. Leveraging the IP covered by the patent, TradeMotion will license its software for use by automotive and parts manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and resellers that provide real-time inventory knowledge via the Internet.

"The license agreement with TradeMotion is another example of the signature opportunity to apply the Unisone intellectual property to today's real problems," said Bernard Puckett, advisor to the chairman of Unisone and former president and CEO of IBM mainframe business, Senior Vice President of IBM and founder of the IBM Consulting Group.

The software systems developed by TradeMotion using Unisone's IP will enable businesses to access accurate on-demand inventory status and proximity from multiple locations without visiting or calling multiple stores or websites. This ensures manufacturers and retailers that they provide accurate inventory information to prospective customers for new or used cars, and even parts. In addition, dealers, manufacturers and parts suppliers will be able to leverage information to automate inventory management and replenishment, further increasing negotiation and buying power and speeding delivery of critical parts and supplies.

"Automobile manufacturers are exploring and implementing initiatives to manage parts inventories through today's technologies," said Shawn D. Lucas, co-founder and president of TradeMotion Software. "The value in savings of this patent and technology for automobile manufacturers and dealers is in the hundreds of millions of dollars. At a minimum, the manufacturer and dealer will reduce obsolescence reserves on the balance sheet, streamline parts orders, increase the likelihood of needed part availability, reduce inventory cost, and increase service department productivity through demand forecasting rather than forecasting demand."

"This move by TradeMotion positions it as the unequivocal leader in the use of technology to drive efficiencies in inventory management while aggregating data in the automotive market," said W. J. Kitchen, a newly appointed member of TradeMotion's Board of Directors. Prior to joining the TradeMotion Board, Dr. Kitchen has held various executive level positions most notably as Senior Vice President, Nanogen, Corporate Vice President and director of technology and quality for Motorola and Deputy Chief of Standards and Evaluation for the National Security Agency (NSA). He is currently the President of Climax Engineered Materials, LLC, .

As part of the agreement, Unisone took an equity position in TradeMotion. Other terms were not disclosed. TradeMotion is a leading supplier of automotive parts software.
