Metaldyne Names Sandi Galac Vice President and Treasurer

PLYMOUTH, Mich., April 12 -- Sandra (Sandi) Galac has been named vice president and treasurer, Metaldyne Corp. announced today. She will report to Jeff Stafeil, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

In this role, Galac will be responsible for worldwide cash and debt management, tax planning and analysis, risk management and pension fund management.

"I'm pleased to welcome Sandi to Metaldyne," said Stafeil. "She brings over 20 years of broad financial experience that will be an asset to Metaldyne as we continue to grow and evolve."

Before joining Metaldyne, Galac spent six years at Kelly Services as vice president and treasurer, where she was responsible for all traditional elements of treasury. Prior to her role at Kelly Services, Galac served as assistant treasurer for Federal-Mogul Corporation in Southfield where she was responsible for several billion dollars of acquisition-driven financing. Before that, she held several financial management positions over the course of ten years at Unisys Corporation in Detroit.

Galac holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Galac will be located at Metaldyne's Corporate Headquarters in Plymouth, Mich.
