Amerityre Corporation to Ring NASDAQ Closing Bell April 20

BOULDER CITY, Nev., April 12 -- Amerityre Corporation announced today that it will ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell on Thursday, April 20, 2006.

Mr. Richard A. Steinke, Amerityre's founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President will be joined on the podium for the ceremony by Lee Iacocca, Chairman of Amerityre's Advisory Board, former president of Ford Motor Company and former Chairman of Chrysler Corporation.

"Our upcoming Closing Bell Ceremony gives us something to celebrate, marking our recent debut as a NASDAQ-listed company," commented Mr. Steinke. "The move from the OTC Bulletin Board to the NASDAQ Capital Market is a significant milestone for Amerityre and its shareholders.
