SANTA MONICA, Calif.--April 10, 2006--"Sendia WorkSpace Locator -- powered by Tierravision" has been named the Grand-Prize Winner and "Business Applications" Category Winner of the 2006 North American NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge, the companies announced today. More than 140 companies registered for the Challenge, representing a broad spectrum of wireless applications in four categories: Navigation, Business Applications, Entertainment and Leisure, and Social Networking. Winners were selected based on each competitor's commercial feasibility, functionality and design.
