Anderson No. 1 at NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals

LAS VEGAS (April 8, 2006) - Greg Anderson topped the field for the
fourth time this season, running a best of four qualifying sessions of
6.793 seconds to take the top spot in his KB Racing LLC/Summit Racing
Equipment Pro Stock Pontiac GTO.

This race marks Anderson's fifth No. 1 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway and the 44th of his career. Also, Anderson and his teammate
Jason Line have claimed 11 consecutive No. 1s dating back to the U.S.
Nationals at Indy last year - Anderson has eight of the 11, Line three.

"I'm very proud of the guys and the job they've done this weekend," said
Anderson following qualifying. "We think my car is ready for tomorrow.
My car is happy, at least in the left lane. We've had two good runs in
that left lane and have done okay in the right lane. This was a great
place to do it in front our great sponsor Summit and at the hometown of
(team owner) Ken Black."

With qualifying over, Anderson now turns his focus on winning the Pro
Stock class and claming the "Wally," emblematic of winning the NHRA
SummitRacing.com Nationals.

In the opening round of eliminations tomorrow, Anderson will face Greg
Stanfield, who bumped into the 16-car field at No. 16 during the final
qualifying session. Stanfield's best of four qualifying session was a
pass of 6.832 seconds.

Anderson begins his quest for the SummitRacing.com Nationals Pro Stock
title on Sunday, April 9, with eliminations for all classes beginning at
11 a.m. All times are local Las Vegas time (PT) and subject to change
at anytime.
