Buford, Ga. - Kinetic Speed Shop is gaining more and more recognition as
the industry's one-stop-shop for motorsports and car enthusiasts.
Created by owners Russell Smith and professional driver Nic Jonsson, the
shop is located in Buford, Ga. and specializes in Porsche as well as
Ford GT and Mustang upgrades and maintenance. The motorsports division
of Kinetic is already producing quite a name for itself in the world of
sports car racing competing in events such as the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge
as well as Porsche Club of America races. Kinetic is looking to
establish its own professional sports car racing effort in 2007 but in
the meantime has decided to expand its resume to another form of racing.

Now, Kinetic will take on another branch of motorsports in the world of
competitive drag racing. The new program is the fruition of months of
development at Kinetic Speed Shop. Kinetic has transformed a 2005 Saleen
S281R into a raw drag racing powerhouse that is sure to impress fans at
select events in the Summit Racing Series sanctioned by NHRA and Fun
Ford Weekend races.

The brainchild behind the new project at Kinetic Speed Shop is Tim
Olsen, Kinetic's own Ford expert who amongst many achievements, helped
engineer a world speed record of 203 mph at Bonneville in 2004 with a
2003 Mustang Cobra. Olsen has spent countless hours developing the
Saleen at Kinetic and has been responsible for bringing several partners
on board to help ensure the success of the project in 2006.

"It all came about because we had this Saleen here in the shop from the
SEMA show in Las Vegas that we were not going to be able to use," said
Olsen. "Drag racing has always been a Mustang monopoly so it just made
sense. Our first year out we are trying to dial in a brand new car and
create more recognition and business for our shop in Buford. We have
great support from Diablosport as well as BMR Fabrication. Diablo tuned
the car at their facility in Delray Beach Fla. threw it on the dyno and
dialed the car in. Scott at Diablo accomplished in three days what
others have taken weeks to figure out. BMR Fabrication has stepped up to
sponsor us with a complete suspension as well. The quality of the BMR
product is second to none and really adds to the performance of this
machine. Hopefully we will be able to take this program national in 2007
and eventually win a championship."

The first race on Kinetic's list is the Peach State Nationals at the
Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga. the biggest race of the year for Fun
Ford Weekend in terms of payouts and attendance. Kinetic Motorsports
will debut its car at the event running in the mod comp class. The
Saleen S281R will be driven by skilled drag racer Victor Downs who has
competed and finished in the top 10 in the NMRA Drag Racing Series for
the past two years.

Smith, Kinetic co-owner, competes himself in the IMSA Cup Challenge as
well as PCA events throughout North America. He is new to drag racing
but is eager to take his company into a new and much different aspect of
racing.

"The Saleen was an obvious hit at SEMA this year so it pleases me to be
able to take it racing in a new format for Kinetic," said Smith. "I
believe that this endeavor will only help to strengthen our reputation
throughout the motorsports community and will add even more options for
customers seeking the best for their performance needs that can be found
at Kinetic Speed Shop. The debut this weekend is something that we are
all looking forward to."
