Subaru Northwest Region Sales Rise 22%
- Region provides largest increase in U.S.; Portland and Seattle dealers rank first and second in national sales for the brand -
PORTLAND, Ore., April 6 -- Subaru of America, Inc. reported best-ever March sales totaling 19,048 units; with its Northwest Region seeing the largest increase of 22 percent. Carr Subaru in Portland is ranked number one in U.S. Subaru sales through the first quarter of this year, with Carter Subaru in Seattle ranked at number two.

"The northwest area of the country is a traditionally strong market for us. The Subaru Northwest Region sold 2,842 vehicles in March, up from the 2,319 sold during the same period last year. The Subaru Impreza and Subaru Forester models led the increase with both models posting double-digit gains.
Total U.S. Subaru Sales by Model Line
The Subaru B9 Tribeca recorded 1,966 units for the month of March. The Subaru Legacy model line posted a total of 7,642 units, with Subaru Outback posting 5,423 units for the month. Subaru Impreza posted a 14 percent increase with 3,154 unit sales. Subaru Forester totaled 5,859 units, while Subaru Baja recorded 427 units for the month.
