ArvinMeritor Receives Quality Performance Award from Honda

TROY, Mich., April 5 -- ArvinMeritor, Inc. today announced that its Meritor Suspension Systems Co. (MSSC) joint venture with Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing Co. is a recipient of Honda's Quality Performance Award, for achieving a defect rate of zero parts per million (PPM) from January to December 2005 at its site in Chatham, Ont., Canada. The facility, part of ArvinMeritor's Light Vehicle Systems (LVS) business group, was recognized at the Honda Supplier Conference March 15 at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC.

The Chatham site produces stabilizer bars for the Acura MDX, as well as stabilizer bar assemblies for the Honda Pilot, Ridgeline and Element models.
