A&D Technology, Inc. Releases Multi-channel Noise and Vibration Analyzer

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--April 3, 2006--A&D Technology, Inc. (formerly MTS Powertrain) today announced the release of the AD3651 Compact World Class Analyzer (cWCA). The cWCA is a portable multi-channel system for real-time noise and vibration analysis.

"The cWCA is a natural extension of our traditional Engine Testing products and services," said Rob Lamb, Global Marketing Manager. "Our global automotive customers are differentiating their products in the marketplace in the NVH performance of their vehicles, and they need powerful and easy to use tools to accomplish their goals in this area. Applications for this analyzer extends not only beyond powertrain systems in the automotive industry, but into consumer products, aerospace, rotating machinery, and other industries."

The cWCA is scalable from 4, 8, to 16 channels in a single A4 sized front-end chassis, and is expandable to 32 channels via a synchronized connection between two 16 channel front-end units. The system a dynamic range of 100dB, and has 24-bit Analog to digital conversion.

WCA Pro, the powerful multi-analysis software, provides real-time FFT analysis for NVH testing. Additional options for integrating real-time octave and tracking analysis are available. Both Multi-input/Multi-output (MIMO) and throughput acquisition to disk are standard features on the cWCA.

"Our parent company, A&D Co., Ltd has over 20 years of experience in providing FFT analyzers," said Yoichiro (Eddie) Koyama, President and CEO of A&D Technology.
