Jason Line advances to semifinals
 
BAYTOWN, Texas (April 2, 2006) - Jason Line wheeled his KB Racing LLC, 
Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO to a semifinal finish at this 
weekend's 19th annual NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts National at Houston 
Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas, just outside Houston.

En route to the semifinal match up against Mike Edwards, Line defeated 
Barry Grant in the opening round in round and Rickie Smith in round two.

Against Edwards, who went on to win the event, Line ran a 6.730-second 
elapsed time at 205.82 mph.  Edwards took the win light in 6.728 seconds 
at 206.32 mph.

""We showed some improvement over our start in the first three races," 
said Line.  "We must carry that momentum into Las Vegas so that we can 
continue the improvement.  There's still a lot of work to do and we'll 
start by staying here and testing our Summit Pontiac ."

Line moved up to six in the NHRA POWERade point standings with 225 
points, just four points out of the top five and six points behind 
fourth.   

Line and his KB Racing, Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac GTO moves 
directly to Las Vegas, home of team owner Ken Black, for the seven 
annual SummitRacing.com Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor 
Speedway.  The event, first of two held in Las Vegas, will be contested 
next weekend, April 6-9.

ESPN2 aired three hours of same-day television coverage of eliminations 
for the 19th annual NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts Nationals on Sunday, April 
2.  The elimination show repeats early Wednesday morning (April 5) from 
2:30-4:30 a.m.  Television times are Eastern Time (ET) and subject to 
change at anytime.  Check local listings.
     
KB Racing LLC is owned by Las Vegas businessmen Ken Black and his son 
Kenny Black.  KB Racing LLC fields two Summit Racing Equipment Pro Stock 
Pontiac GTOs, one driven by Greg Anderson and the other by Jason Line in 
the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. Anderson has won three consecutive 
POWERade Pro Stock Championships (2003-2005).  Line finished third in 
the 2005 POWERade point standings and was honored with the 2004 
Automobile Club of Southern California Road to the Future award, 
presented to the most outstanding rookie in a professional category.  
This year KB Racing LLC also began fielding a Top Fuel Dragster, managed 
by Kalitta Motorsports, with rookie Top Fuel driver Hillary Will 
handling the driving duties.
