Growth Drives American Hobbyist Insurance to Expand Staff; Relocate Headquarters to Pennsylvania
JENKINTOWN, Pa., March 31 -- American Hobbyist Insurance, a leading national provider of collector-vehicle coverage, recently announced the appointment of Karen Tim as its new agency manager.
Tim serves in American Hobbyist's new headquarters in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Formerly located in Stuart, Florida, the agency relocated to larger quarters in Pennsylvania to accommodate growth and, according to agency spokesman Orlando Morales, "position American Hobbyist to handle future growth as we serve the booming market for collector vehicles."
Tim, previously in sales management with State Farm, agrees that the timing of her new position with a specialty provider "couldn't be better" because classic-car sales and auction results are currently at an all-time high.
Also newly appointed at American Hobbyist is sales and marketing coordinator Erica Maurer. She provides marketing support to agents and is the point of contact for agents who wish to become appointed. Maurer enjoys helping agents "use this specialty product to retain accounts and grow their books of personal lines business."
