Armor Holdings, Inc. Announces $33.6 Million Order for Vehicle Armor Components

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 30 -- Armor Holdings, Inc. , a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems serving military, law-enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today the receipt of an order from Textron Marine & Land valued at $33.6 million. The Company stated that the award is for the manufacture of the armor components for the U.S. Army's M1117 Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) with deliveries required during 2006 and continuing into the second quarter of 2007. Work under the new award will be performed by the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group facilities in Phoenix, Arizona.
