Manheim Auction Receives DaimlerChrysler Remarketing Honor

Arena Auto Auction Named Auction of the Year

ATLANTA - March 29, 2006: DaimlerChrysler Remarketing has named Manheim's Arena Auto Auction in Bolingbrook, Ill., as the 2005 Auction of the Year. Arena Auto Auction was selected for providing the highest residual values, quality and customer service to DaimlerChrysler and its dealers throughout the past year.

"Manheim's partnership with DaimlerChrysler has proved to be beneficial to all involved, providing our customers with a great experience at every sale," said Nick Peluso, Manheim's senior vice president of sales. "The hard work and dedication that Arena Auto Auction has put into DaimlerChrysler auctions makes it the ideal candidate for this award, and we are very proud of this honor."

The auction, one of 24 DaimlerChrysler-affiliated auctions since 1965, sold 13,300 used DaimlerChrysler vehicles in 2005. The 12-lane facility features a newly opened state-of-the-art collision repair, reconditioning and sale center on 140 acres.

"The staff at Arena Auto Auction is thrilled to receive this award, especially since this is the first time that we have been recognized by DaimlerChrysler Remarketing as its top-performing auction," said Jimmy Compton, general manager of Arena Auto Auction and past president of the National Auto Auction Association. "We worked hard in 2005 to make each DaimlerChrysler auction a success, and we plan to work even harder this year."
