AutoSoft Adds 'General Manager' Module to Its Popular DMS; Variation of 'Dealer Principal' Feature Helps GMs Be Even Better Managers
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa.--March 29, 2006--Dealer management system provider AutoSoft International - ASI now gives general managers in dealerships using its "most-recommended" DMS instant access to key business metrics for the asking through its new General Manager module.General Manager provides the GM with key information pertaining to the performance of the dealership. This information is compiled quickly and all key metrics desired by the general manager printed on screen in PDF format or printed to a printer.
Thus, the GM now will have all essential planning and measurement information in one, easy-to-understand snapshot. General Manager has all of the screens and functionality of AutoSoft's hugely popular Dealer Principal feature, upon which it is based.
By providing such fast and easy access to key business metrics - from the performance of individual sales people to daily parts sales volume and revenue to vehicle days in inventory and more - the AutoSoft General Manager addition to the AutoSoft DMS helps make general managers more efficient and better managers.
In a recent NADA survey, "2005 Bi-Annual Survey of Dealership Satisfaction with Dealer System Providers' Products and Services," released last fall, AutoSoft was ranked as the "most recommended" dealer management system.
Now a password-protected icon, "General Manager," has been added to the AutoSoft desktop. The GM enters the General Manager feature through this icon. The General Manager module gives the GM access to all menus and screens available in Dealer Principal, though the entire module can be set up to either allow or deny access to any of the functions of the Dealer Principal feature as the dealer allows.
