NHRA NEWS: O'Reilly extends title sponsorship of Spring
Nationals
GLENDORA, Calif. (March 28, 2006) - O'Reilly Auto Parts has
extended its partnership with NHRA as the title sponsor of the NHRA
Spring Nationals at the Houston Raceway Park through the 2009 season,
NHRA Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Gary Darcy announced.
The 19th annual O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals presented by
Pennzoil is scheduled for March 31-April 2, at Houston Raceway Park in
Baytown, Texas. The race, which features some of the quickest and
fastest racing on the circuit, is the fourth of 23 events in the NHRA
POWERade Series season and it will be televised by ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD.

opportunity to continue the title sponsorship of the O'Reilly Spring

The commitment maintains O'Reilly's major presence in NHRA
Drag Racing as an event title sponsor. The company is the title sponsor
now of six NHRA POWERade Series events, including the O'Reilly Midwest
Nationals at Gateway Raceway near St. Louis; the O'Reilly Thunder Valley
Nationals at Bristol (Tenn.) Dragway; the O'Reilly Summer Nationals at
Heartland Park Topeka (Kan.); the Mid-South Nationals at Memphis (Tenn.)
Motorsports Park; and the O'Reilly Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex
near Dallas.
