Delphi CEO Steve Miller to Discuss Corporate Turnarounds at the Detroit Economic Club

DETROIT, March 28 -- On Monday, April 3, 2006, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) will host Steve Miller, chairman and CEO, Delphi Corporation, a world leader in mobile electronics, transportation components and systems technology, headquartered in Troy, MI. The meeting will be held at noon at The Masonic, Detroit, MI.

Miller will discuss the challenges of corporate turnaround and transformation. Over the past decade, Miller has guided the recovery of several troubled companies, including Federal Mogul, Waste Management and Bethlehem Steel. He will draw from his experiences as he shares his perspective on what it will take for automotive suppliers to be successful in the 21st century.

"Steve Miller's corporate turnaround experience is vast," DEC President Beth Chappell said. "Currently, Delphi is front and center for many people worldwide and Miller's comments may provide some insight into this situation."

A graduate of Stanford University and Harvard University, Steve Miller has led nine different companies through a corporate turnaround since 1995. Before joining Delphi Corporation July 1, 2005, he worked for Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. Currently, he serves on the board of the Economic Alliance of Michigan.
