Camping World Announces Grand Opening of Ft. Worth Store

FT. WORTH, Texas--March 28, 2006--

  Nation's Largest Retailer of RV and Outdoor Supplies and Accessories Opens Store Along Side McCLain's RV SuperStore  



Camping World, the nation's largest retailer of RV and outdoor supplies and accessories, today announced the Grand Opening of its new retail store in Ft. Worth. The store is co-located with McCLain's RV SuperStore in a brand new facility along I-35 at exit 41. This is a joint Grand Opening marking Camping World's 46th store and McClain's fourth, with three in Texas and one in Oklahoma.

The stores will kick off the joint Grand Opening on Thursday, March 30th at 8:00 a.m. and the celebration will continue through Sunday, April 2nd. This spectacular event will include free lunches for customers each day between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., product specials, and an opportunity to win a trip to the Daytona races this summer as part of Camping World's 40th Anniversary Sweepstakes. In addition, participants will have a chance to unlock a Treasure Chest full of premium prizes, and enjoy free RVing seminars which will take place daily beginning at 11:00 a.m. Other exciting prizes will be given and sweepstakes held during the celebration as well.

The new 50,000 square foot facility has 12 service bays and sits on 16 acres. With more than 800 feet of frontage along I-35, a major thoroughfare, the companies will enjoy major exposure to large volumes of passing traffic.

The brisk expansion of Camping World is well timed to respond to growing consumer demand as the outlook for the RV and RV supplies and accessories market burgeons, topping lists of US growth industries. A recent study by the University of Michigan's Survey Research Center found that one in 12 U.S. vehicle-owning households now own an RV. There are now 7.9 million households in the U.S. with a RV. This figure indicates a 58 percent rise in RV ownership since 1980. This study also anticipates similar growth in the future, thus providing the catalyst for additional Camping World stores across the country.
