Statement by BEA Systems Chairman and CEO Alfred Chuang on the Death of IRL Driver Paul Dana

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Following the tragic death of Rahal Letterman Racing driver Paul Dana during a practice accident Sunday morning, March 26, at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida, BEA Systems Chairman and CEO Alfred Chuang issued the following statement:

"As a racing enthusiast, I know the passion and risks associated with the sport. This knowledge however doesn't mitigate the feelings of sadness and tragedy associated with Sunday's accident. Paul was a talented driver embarking on a promising career, and was also a true gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family and friends, and with everyone at Rahal Letterman Racing."
