(March 25, 2006) - Dario Franchitti, driver of the #27 Klein Tools/Jim Beam machine, will start seventh in the season opening Indy Racing League® IndyCar® Series race. Franchitti posted a best-lap speed of 215.857 miles per hour (24.7664 seconds) during his qualifying attempt for Sunday's running of the Homestead-Miami Indy 300 Presented by XM Satellite Radio. The first of 14 races on the IndyCar Series schedule goes green at 3:45 p.m. (EST) with ABC Sports providing live coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EST). It can also be heard live by XM Satellite Radio subscribers on XM channel 145. Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone: "We're not focused too much on qualifying. Last year we had cars that could get from the back to the front pretty quick. We're going to make the best of what we've got.
