Eaton Announces Acquisition of Marina Power and Lighting
CLEVELAND--March 24, 2006--Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today it has acquired Marina Power and Lighting, a manufacturer of marine duty electrical distribution products. Terms were not disclosed.Marina Power and Lighting manufactures dockside power pedestals, marine power distribution substations and recreational vehicle (RV) park power outlets. The company is based in Williamsburg, Va., and had 2005 sales of $11 million.
"The acquisition of Marina Power and Lighting expands our presence in the growing marina market and enables Eaton to provide a complete turnkey power solution," said Randy Carson, Eaton senior vice president and president - Electrical Group. "When combined with our existing power outlet product line, Eaton will be able to offer customers a solution for all of their power outlet and substation applications."
