PIERCE STRONGEST AGAIN IN THURSDAY'S SILVER CROWN HOMESTEAD TEST

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – For the second straight afternoon, Aaron Pierce set the
fastest time for the Silver Crown Series presented by K&N Engineering during
Thursday's test at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Pierce, a native of Muncie, Ind., clocked in at 169.623 mph as 12 of the 14
pre-entered drivers took speeds in preparation for Saturday’s 67-lap,
100-mile race.

Bud Kaeding of Campbell, Calif. scored a lap of 168.479 mph, the second
quick of the session. P.J. Jones of Torrance, Calif. laid down a speed of
168.203 mph.

A pair of half-hour practice sessions is scheduled for Friday’s schedule.
