Dean Case moves on..Updated Nissan Corp Comm product & technology
After eight great years with Nissan, the time has come to move on - or
perhaps I should say stay put while the company moves on. While I still
love my job, my personal situation simply does not allow my relocation
outside of Southern California, nothing personal about Nashville. As
such I began looking at options late last year and have landed on one
that should be a unique experience - one that takes into account almost
everything I have done since college. I'm going out on my own as a
consultant. My first project is to manage the Inaugural Formula SAE
West Collegiate Design Competition, this June at California Speedway.
My main task is to recruit the best automotive, motorcycle, and
motorsports companies and engineers to support the event. Any company
that hires entry level engineers should be there as over 700 of the best
engineering students will be competing in the premier collegiate design
competition series. Please feel free to contact me on my personal
e-mail account for event details. You can also visit
http://students.sae.org for more information.
My last day in the office is scheduled to be April 3rd.
My "Nissan product" replacement within Corp Comm is Darryll Harrison. I
know that Darryll will do an outstanding job and he will be your contact
in Nashville as well after the corporate move takes place this summer.
Darryll can be reached as follow:
For "Infiniti product" questions contact Kyle Bazemore
For items related to technology, safety, environment, and motorsports,
contact Sumi Shimizu - Note: Sumi will rotate back to Japan in June.
For "press fleet issues" contact Sergio Delgadillo
Note: For those of you in the media expect additional notes in the
months ahead from Nissan Corp Comm as the move takes place. After July,
go to www.nissannews.com for a complete listing of Nashville phone
My new personal contact information is as follows:
4733 Torrance Blvd. #405
Torrance, CA 90503
Best wishes to all.
