CarMax to Host Analyst Meeting and Field Trip

In Conjunction With Hartford Superstore Opening

RICHMOND, Va., March 23 -- CarMax, Inc. will host a security analyst meeting and store tour on April 21, 2006, in Hartford, Conn., in conjunction with the opening of the company's first used car superstore in the Northeast.

The store tour and management presentations are designed to help analysts understand in greater depth the day-to-day operations at a CarMax superstore and how those operations provide CarMax its competitive advantages.
