ADESA Sarasota expands North American used vehicle auction footprint to 54

CARMEL, Ind., March 22 -- ADESA, Inc. announced today it has acquired ABC's South Tampa used vehicle auction serving western and central Florida. ADESA's acquisition strengthens the company's market presence in the vibrant Tampa-St. Petersburg area and complements the newly remodeled ADESA Tampa. ADESA will rename the auction ADESA Sarasota.

The ADESA Sarasota property has approximately 61 acres of land, which includes acreage that is presently undeveloped and available for future expansion. The newly remodeled auction facility includes six auction lanes and full-service reconditioning shops providing detail, mechanical and body shop services.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
